Full Stack React/Java Engineer

Summary

The Full Stack React/Java Engineer leads all aspects of the successful execution of complex client projects, provides effective solution designs articulating the strengths and weaknesses associated with alternative implementation choices, and is a trusted leader/advisor to the team.  A Full Stack React/Java Engineer will be expected to properly estimate the size, effort, schedule and cost to ensure profitable internal or external projects, provide oversight/support for multiple internal and/or external projects, and be responsible for administrative oversight of projects (time tracking, reviews, expense management). Implementation will use tools such as JavaScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Java, Spring Framework , Docker and Kafka. 

Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 4+ years of JavaScript and React Experience
• 3+ years experience with eCommerce technology
• 2+ years of experience using Java and Spring Framework
• Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, React, Spring Framework, JPA/Spring Data, and Docker
• Demonstrated experience with UI design and development
• Demonstrated experience implementing RESTful APIs
• Demonstrated experience with relational databases
• Demonstrated experience in a software professional service role
• Drive to write clean, optimized code
• Proactive and self-motivated

Experience in these areas is a plus:

• Solutions consulting and implementation, especially in a commerce context
• Broadleaf Commerce Framework
• Tailwind CSS
• TypeScript
• Next.js
• Microfrontend architecture
