Senior DevOps Engineer

Broadleaf Commerce Software is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer who is passionate about CICD automation, security automation, security best practices, zero downtime deployments, and observable cloud infrastructure. You will interact with stakeholders across Engineering, QA, DevOps, Operations, and Product Management. EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years' of related devops, infrastructure, CICD, and security experience
• Expert in Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform (and similar technologies)
• Practical experience in Azure with exposure to GCP and/or AWS
• Implemented Security solutions in cloud environments
• Experience in designing networks, sub-networks, VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) for security, monitoring, and prevention.
• Experience in observability best practices including log aggregation, log-based monitoring and alerting, effective dashboarding, and resource monitoring
• Experience with compliance programs (e.g. SOC 2, PCI DSS)
• Experience with REST-style web services / APIs
• Experience with Mobile Device and Application Security
• Experience with API Security & Best Practices

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily operations of cloud-based deployments to Kubernetes
• Reviewing and responding to system alerts
• Responding to DevOp  related customer support requests
• Design and implement resilient, scalable, and observable process and infrastructure to be leveraged by various client implementations of the software
• Responsible for securing networks, applications, and data
• Design and implement automation for deploying, testing, monitoring, and reporting
• Design and implement Security Integrations within a CI/CD pipeline
• Incorporate Security products and processes into existing and new systems
• Participates in code and design reviews
• Trains engineers on OWASP top 10, best practices, and secure coding principles
• Work with Clients to review and assess penetration test and vulnerability assessment results
• Review the security posture of new Product integrations
• Assist with company compliance objectives
